Tania Ellis, Founder and Managing Director
Since 2003 Tania has driven the development and delivery of The Social Business Company’s key services, based on her expertise within business strategy, social innovation and entrepreneurship. She has over 20 years of work experience from the business sector, 12 of the years in various management positions in the airline and advertising industry, and holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business College. More details here. Tania is passionate about heartcore business and a great lover of music, food, people and life.

Kia L. Klavenes, Senior Consultant, Managing Partner Norway
Kia is Danish but has lived in Norway since 1998, and contributes to our key services in Norway with her expertise within climate change and environmental sustainability, process management and scenario planning. Over the years she has co-founded and managed several initiatives, including an interactive center for sustainable consumption and the Oslo Environmental Festival. In 2007 she launched a Climate Campaign together with the Ministry of the Environment in Norway, and manages the ministry’s Climate Development Program for more than 80 companies. Kia holds a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Science from Denmark and an Executive Master Degree in Management from the Norwegian Business School.
Kia’s passions are travelling & experiencing different cultures, good food, meeting new people and catching up with old friends.

LINNEA ELISABETH SVENSSON, ASSOCIATED CONSULTANT, NORWAY
Linnea contributes to our key services in Norway, drawing on her hands-on experience with project, event and festival management. She has an entrepreneurial mindset and has been involved in many startup projects in the Nordic region. Her specialities are: environmental practices, ecological food, energy efficiency and waste management. Linnea is chairwoman and member of several boards in both corporate and non-profit organizations.

Annika Rømer, Associated Senior Consultant
Annika contributes to our key services in Denmark, drawing on her work experience with CSR, strategy, communication and project management from, among others, PwC Denmark, The Danish Parliament, and a Dutch NGO. Annika has been involved in advisory engagements for corporate and public clients on issues like CSR-reporting, risk assessments and stakeholder engagement. She has been the editor of the magazine Sustainability Quarterly, worked with ”The Social Index”, a human resource tool developed by the Danish Ministry of Employment, and has managed political campaigns and issues with particular focus on the areas of climate and transportation. Annika holds a Master of Social Sciences in Political Communication and Management from Copenhagen Business School, and has also studied Business Society Management at Erasmus University of Management, Rotterdam.
Annika loves travelling, a good book & a cup of coffee, a walk along the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Michael Stausholm, Special Advisor, Ass. Senior Consultant
Michael has over 20 years of business experience, including AP Moller/Maersk, 15 years in Asia working mainly within logistics and later textile/apparel procurement and social responsibility, and as business owner and consultant. He has travelled all over Asia and Eastern Europe for commercial purposes, and has extensive experience in these regions with manufacturing and socially responsible supply chain management, including Fair Trade projects and improvement of local communities without compromising the bottom line.

Juliane Dybkjær
Juliane studies rhetorics at Copenhagen University, and is passionate about food’n'sustainability. So apart from working here, she (not surprisingly!) also works with communications (and food tastings) for organic foods delivery company Aarstiderne, which was featured as one of TIME’s Environmental Heroes a couple of years ago.
Cecilie Buhl
Cecilie studies International Business Development at Copenhagen Business School, and is particularly interested in entrepreneurship and innovation in Asia. Recently Cecilie spent three months in Asia to explore the emerging social responsibility movement in the region, and also worked two weeks as a full-time volunteer at a social programme in Thailand.
Sidsel is currently studying for her Master of Social Science in business administration and organizational communication at Copenhagen Business School. Sidsel’s final bachelor assignment was on ”The future of capitalism and the world of business” with focus on microcredit pioneer Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank.

Our alumni community
Throughout the years we have had the privilege of attracting bright young interns and junior associates, who want to – or are already pursuing – a sustainability-focused career within a wide range of disciplines.
Over time they have contributed with practical assistance on projects and provided fresh perspectives to our work. In turn they have obtained new insights and inspiration for their next steps forward on their respective career paths which include work with climate strategies, relationship management, CSR film production and work for the UNDP.
