About Tania Ellis

Tania Ellis (born 1969) is a Danish-British prize-winning author, speaker and business innovator, who specializes in social business trends.

She is driven by her curiosity to find new solutions to the demands and challenges we face in our (work) life. With an Executive MBA and 12 years of management experience from the private sector, she has extensive theoretical and practical experience in bridging human needs and business needs.

Since 2003 Tania Ellis has continued this work in her own communication and consulting company The Social Business Company® (former Inspiratorium®). Here she gives advice and inspiration on social business trends to a wide range of national and international private, public and civic organisations including large corporate brands, NGOs, educational institutions, ministries, municipalities, think tanks and social entrepreneurs.

As one of Scandinavia's leading social business experts, Tania Ellis is a popular speaker and consultant on topics such as leadership, work-life demands, corporate and employer branding, corporate social responsibility, (corporate) social innovation and social entrepreneurship.

In addition, she has authored dozens of articles on business trends, and won Danish business magazine Berlingske Nyhedsmagasin's 2004 award for her paper A leadership model for future Denmark [En ledelsesmodel for fremtidens Danmark].

Her book contributions include the first Danish book on social innovation and social entrepreneurship, De Nye Pionerer (Jyllands-Postens Forlag 2006), The CSR World Guide (Greenleaf Publishing 2010), the Danish anthology on social entrepreneurship, Socialt Entreprenørskab (Børsens Forlag 2010), and her international book on sustainable business success The New Pioneers (Wiley 2010), which in 2010 was listed as no. 21 on Cambridge's Top 40 Sustainability Books along with authors such as Al Gore, Joseph Stiglitz and Muhammad Yunus.
