1. Refund Policy
At TANIA ELLIS – The Social Business Company, we want you to be fully satisfied with your course or service. If you wish to request a refund, the following conditions apply:
When can you request a refund?
– Refunds may be granted if you cancel before the course or service has started.
– For online courses with instant access, refunds can only be issued if you have not yet accessed or logged into the course materials.
– Refunds may also be granted if we are unable to deliver the service as agreed.

Refund method
– Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, typically within 14 working days after approval.
Exceptions and special conditions
– If you have accessed digital content (e.g., online courses or downloadable materials) for which you accepted immediate access, your right to a refund may be waived in accordance with EU consumer law.
– We reserve the right to refuse or reduce a refund if the request does not meet the conditions above or if misuse is suspected.

2. Delivery Information
Below you will find information about how we deliver our courses, training programmes and digital products, including expected timeframes.
Practitioner Masterclasses (2-day in-person courses + follow-up webinar)
– After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
– Practical information about venue, schedule, preparation and materials will be sent 5–7 working days before the course start date.
– The follow-up webinar will take place after the in-person training, and details will be sent to you via email.
Sustainable Business Change Manager Programme (6 months)
a) Physical format (in-person training in Copenhagen)
– You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of enrolment.
– Practical information, learning materials and preparation instructions will be sent 1–2 weeks before the programme starts.
– All further updates, schedules and materials will be shared on an ongoing basis during the programme.
b) Hybrid format (in-person sessions + online materials + live Q&A sessions)
– Access to your online learning platform will be granted at the start date of the programme.
– Online video modules will be released according to the programme schedule.
– Information about in-person sessions, online modules, and live Q&A webinars will be sent to you in the enrolment confirmation email.
c) Online format (live online teaching + online video modules released over 6 months)
– You will receive login details to the online learning platform at the start date of the programme.
– Live online sessions will take place according to the published programme calendar.
– Online modules will be released gradually (“drip-release”) throughout the 6-month period
SBCM Alumni Forum membership
– Upon completing your purchase, you will receive access to the Alumni Forum platform within 24 hours, including instructions on how to log in.
– Membership includes a mix of digital and in-person activities, such as:
– Annual in-person kick-off event
– “Tools & Trends” live webinars and recordings
– Live Q&A sessions and recordings
– Access to additional learning resources
– Dates and schedules for events and webinars will be communicated in advance via email and/or through the Alumni Forum platform.
– Access to recordings and online materials is available throughout your active membership period.
On-demand online courses
– You receive immediate access after completing your purchase, or within 24 hours at the latest.
– Login details and instructions will be sent to the email address used during checkout.
– You may access the course materials at your own pace.
Guides and digital pdf’s
– Digital guides and PDF materials are delivered instantly after purchase via direct download or email.
– If your download email does not arrive, please check your spam folder or contact us at hello@taniaellis.com
Workshops / physical events
– When registering for a workshop or in-person event, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
– Practical information (location, time, preparation etc.) will be sent approximately 5–7 working days before the event.
Consulting / advisory services
– For consulting or support services, you will be contacted within 3 working days after placing your order to schedule your session(s).
– Delivery usually takes place within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Complaints Procedure
We aim to provide a professional and high-quality experience. If you are dissatisfied with your course or service, please follow the steps below:
1. Send an email to hello@taniaellis.com with the subject line “Complaint – course/service” and include:
– Order date
– Course/service name
– Description of the issue
2. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and inform you of the next steps.
3. Your complaint will be reviewed, and we will provide a written response or proposed solution within 30 days.
4. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant consumer authority in your country (for example, the Danish Consumer Complaints Board).
4. Right of Withdrawal
Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
EU consumers have a legal right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Digital products and online courses
If you purchase a digital product or online course with instant access, and you choose to begin using it immediately (by ticking the acceptance box or clicking to access the course), you acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right is waived once access has been provided.
This is in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
– Send a written statement to hello@taniaellis.com within 14 days of your purchase.
– You will receive a confirmation and further instructions.
– Refunds will be made within 14 working days after we receive your withdrawal request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Effects of withdrawal
– If you withdraw before accessing digital content or before the start of a service, you will be refunded the full amount (excluding any additional delivery costs).
– If you have already accessed digital content after explicitly agreeing to waive the withdrawal right, the withdrawal right may no longer apply.
