The textile and fashion industry is undergoing significant change. Sustainability demands, evolving regulation and shifting consumer expectations are reshaping how businesses operate across the value chain.
This requires new knowledge, practical tools and dialogue across sectors.
On 1 October 2025, Textile & Fashion Forum Helsinki will take place for the third time at Little Finlandia.
The event is organised by Finnish Textile & Fashion, which this year marks its 120th anniversary as an advocate for the industry.
Event Programme
The programme offers a full day of content, combining keynote sessions with two parallel afternoon tracks. In the evening, discussions continue at a cocktail event.
The Forum will bring together company leaders, designers, policymakers and other stakeholders to share perspectives on where the industry is heading .
Speakers include both Finnish and international voices, among them as keynote Tania Ellis, recognised for her work on sustainable business practices.
The keynotes and sessions will address topics such as business resilience, circular solutions and the role of innovation in building the industry’s future .
Focus on practical approach
The Forum places emphasis on business cases and practical examples.
Presentations will highlight how companies are working with sustainability in practice – from supply chain management to new design and production models.
By looking at these cases, participants will gain insight into how responsibility and business development can be combined in everyday operations .
In addition to presentations, the event provides space for exchange of experiences.
The intention is to enable dialogue between different actors in the ecosystem – from established businesses to newcomers in the field – and to consider what the next 120 years of textile and fashion in Finland could look like .
