Last week Denmark’s only business medium with a dedicated focus on business-driven CSR – www.CSR.dk – interviewed Tania Ellis about the focus of our work in 2018. Here are the main points from the interview:
In 2018 we will, in particular, be focusing our inspiration, training and consulting services on the following three areas:
#1 – CSR and sales:
We will focus on helping and inspiring companies to link their CSR and sustainability efforts to their business. This year with particular emphasis on building relations and engaging their customers – both B2B and B2C (their corporate customers and end-consumers) – so that their CSR efforts are even more closely linked to their commercial efforts.
#2 – Employee engagement:
Another priority is to focus on employee engagement so that CSR becomes an integrated effort in all business disciplines and a part of each employee’s every day work within the company – from HR, procurement, sales and marketing to business development, supply chain management and communication.
#3 – Partnerships for innovation:
We will continue bringing together large companies with social and green startups to inspire and encourage “corporate social entrepreneurship” alliances in many forms. These are key for driving and improving sustainable business innovation both inside and outside of corporations.
#Bonus – Social impact:
In addition, we will also be looking into tracking the impact of our work through our clients, with particular emphasis on social impact.
