Testimonial

From the Client

Tina Holck, Head of Social Services, Copenhagen Municipality

“It was inspiring to hear about partnerships with private companies in connection with voluntary work. It's a pure win win … In the municipality we have a strategy for social economy, and we got something we could take with us in our further work. I was reminded that there are more partners to dance with than just the municipality administration and the volunteers. Companies and the state are also important partners.”

Social innovation and cross-sector partnerships

In connection with the Volunteering Year, Copenhagen Municipality invited NGOs and voluntary organizations from the region to an inspirational conference. Tania Ellis’s contribution was an introduction to the concept of social innovation, social entrepreneurship and cross-sector partnerships.
